Predators that are often found include, Leopard, Lynx, Brown Hyena, Spotted Hyena, Silver back jackal, African wild cat, Savita cat, Ratel and Mongoose

The subtropical bushveld savannah includes tree species like Red Bushwillow, Corkwood, purple-pod cluster leaf, Marula, White seringa, Shepperd, Acacia and Baobab. Grass species typical to the area include, Carrot-seed, Mexican feather, Pappus, Pangola, Natal, Ngongoni, Kalahari, Signal, Cane, Guinea, and Buffalo grass.
